NewsKid: learn English with today's news
Every day NewsKid turns real news into English reading lessons for every level, from A1 beginners to IELTS. One article, seven versions (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, IELTS), with vocabulary, quizzes and downloads included. Use it for classes, homework or independent practice.
How it works
- Pick today's news. Fresh articles are added daily across science, tech, business, health and more.
- Select the right level. Every student reads the same story at their own level.
- Read, learn and quiz. Click words for definitions, take vocabulary and comprehension quizzes, and download vocabulary lists.
Why teachers choose NewsKid
- Differentiated: the same article at 7 levels for mixed-ability classes.
- Daily content: new articles every day.
- Zero prep: vocabulary, definitions and quizzes included, ready to assign as homework.
- Real-world topics students care about.
